I got another set of old Spring captures which I will be featuring here again. They’re from my old Pentax Point and Shoot so pardon the not that best of a quality!

I am not sure what these blooming flowers/trees are called. They’re kind of purplish and pinkish and so I’m thinking they’re good enough for a Pink Friday meme.
Is it Magnolia or not? Please tell me so if you know what these blooms are called. I just couldn’t find it in my list of flowers.
This tree blooms its flowers first, and the thick leaves then follow when all the flowers have withered.
Up-close, they sure look so lovely and peaceful, don’t they?
